SPOTTED – Australian Shepard Mix – Ballinger Road, Greensboro area

Posted on May 30, 2025

Species – Dog
Breed – Australian Shepherd mix (?)
Age – unsure
Color/Markings – brown and white
Collar/Tags/Microchip Info. – wearing a pull chain collar, possibly green collar
Location – Ballinger Road/Leonard Recreational Park

Stray dog seen at Leonard Recreational Park, she appears to be some sort of an Australian Shepherd mix and either recently pregnant, has puppies currently or has been a nursing Mom in the past. She is very skittish and runs when approached (these images are zoomed in from my car) but she will come eat from the bowls at the edge of the parking lot. She is wearing a collar but runs into the bushes (area circled in the last photo) and then will go behind the baseball field if followed. Someone stopped and said she was crossing back and forth over Ballinger road late last night.

I’m hoping someone that sees this knows who she belongs to or knows a rescue that could help her.
