Location: Found off Brookbank Road near Old Oak Ridge Rd (NC-150) in front of Henson Farms Clubhouse
This dog appears to have either been lost due to blindness in both eyes or have been abandoned. We picked him up while he was circling the center lanes on Brookbank Rd., Thursday, Jan 24th @ 5:30 AM. He has been scanned, shaved, and bathed by the Summerfield Veterinary Hospital (Battleground and Strawberry Rd). He was not seen by the vet, only by other vet employees, who determined that he was accustomed to being groomed, had been lost for a month by his coat, and must be quite old due to lacking most of his teeth. There was no evaluation of his medical condition, other than observing that he blind in both eyes. 
We have kept him at our home. He appears to be house trained, is harmless, but needs a good home. He is having regular bowel movements now, is used to being crated most of the day. We will not be able to keep him beyond the first weekend in February.
